Terms of Sale

STAMPS

ALL STAMPS ARE OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE. All stamps are described in our Canadian-stamps online web site under description and that for each single one of them. The right is reserved to withdraw any stamps to sale belong to Canadian-stamps. The firm reserves the right also to cancel any purchase. In the event of any dispute, his decision shall be final.

MAIL PURCHAISER must forward there payments within three days before stamps are sent. ONLINE PURCHASER will receive an invoice immediately after there purchase and must make immediately remittance before stamps are sent. Stamps not paid after 7days may at our discretion.

All stamps are sold in Canadian fund. Stamps delivered in Canada will be charged G.S.T. also P.S.T in Québec, and H.S.T. in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador. Shipping and handling fee are charged to the account of the buyer. Shipments to Canada and USA will be sent by Xpresspost. For the convenience of our American clients, U.S. funds will be accepted at the basic day exchange rate.

In our opinion, all stamps are as described. If a prospective purchaser wishes to obtain another expert opinion on a stamp he must request an extension in writing by mail before 7 days after is purchase. Items that already have such certificates are sold on the basis of those certificates and are not returnable. The inability of an expert committee to render an opinion on a stamp is insufficient grounds for its return.

Claims for errors in description, including condition, must be made within 7 days after receipt. Stamps returned must be in the state received and must be sent by registered mail or bonded courier. Stamps back stamped, marked or encapsulated by experts or expert committees are not returnable. Stamps described as having defects are not returnable on account of their condition. All stamps photographed in color are reproduced with extreme care as to accuracy of color and shade, however stamps photographed in color may not be returned because of shade differences between the stamps and photograph.

Catalogue numbers used are from the most available Scott’s edition. Values are from the current edition of the Unitrade Canada Specialized Catalogue and are in Canadian dollars, with appropriate premiums. When we catalogue a collection we omit all obviously faulty, damaged, faked or forged stamps; our count of the stamps and catalogue value will be a conservative calculation. All stamps are sold “as is”.

PURCHASING OF A STAMP SHALL CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE OF ALL THESE TERMS OF SALE.

AUCTION

ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE. All lots are described in our Canadian-stamps online web site under description and that for each single lot. The right is reserved to withdraw any lot to sale, or to divide a lot, or to group lots belonging to Canadian-stamps. Canadian-stamps will regulate the bidding receive by mail and by phone. The firm reserves the right to reject any bid. In the event of any dispute, his decision shall be final.

The highest bidder shall prevail at one advance over the next highest bidder. Tie bids shall go to the first received. MAIL BIDDERS known to us may have their lots forwarded for payment within three days before lot are sent. Online bidders will receive an invoice immediately after the auction end and must make immediately remittance before lots are sent. Lots not paid after 20 days may at our discretion to be re-offered in the next available auction.

A buyer’s premium of 15% will be added to the hammer price and becomes part of the total purchase price.
